Style and Approach

Every photograph I take has meaning. Weddings are full of moments you can’t predict, and that’s exactly what I love about them. My approach is to document the day as it naturally unfolds, capturing the moments that matter most, along with the ones you didn’t even realise were happening.

I keep things relaxed, real and honest. Nothing overly posed or formal, just genuine moments as they happen.

Many couples say I feel more like a friend than a supplier on the day. I blend into the celebration, chat with your guests, share a few laughs, and quietly capture the people and moments that make your day yours.

I’m also not afraid to lend a hand when it’s needed. I’ve straightened dresses, fixed buttonholes, ironed shirts, moved flowers, driven people back from the church, and even run to grab the emergency Crocs. My role goes far beyond just taking photographs.

I genuinely love what I do, and I bring that passion to every wedding I photograph.

The Art of Black and White Photography

Black and white photography plays a big part in my style. By removing colour, the focus shifts to what truly matters, the moment, the emotion, the light and the connection between people.

There’s something timeless about black and white photographs. They have a way of adding depth, nostalgia and drama, often making the most meaningful moments feel even more powerful.

When editing your gallery, I carefully hand pick the photographs that truly ooze emotion and process them in black and white. Your final collection will be a thoughtful blend of colour and black & white images, my way of telling the full story of your wedding day.
