Meet Jamie…
Hello, I’m Jamie!
A Shropshire wedding photographer, a dad, and someone who loves being right in the middle of a good wedding.
I’m Jamie. Most importantly, I’m a dad. Family is a huge part of my life. I’m also a photographer, and I love weddings for the chaos, the energy, the laughs, the happy tears, the completely unplanned moments and all the brilliant things that happen in between. 🫶🏻
I’m not there to turn your wedding into a photoshoot. I’ll give you a bit of direction when you need it, help organise things when required, and then let you get on with having a brilliant day.
I want to be around for the people, the laughter, the hugs, the madness and everything that makes your wedding yours.
“He was professional but so ridiculously friendly from the word go. I consider him a friend now. I honestly mean that. We could not have wished for a better person to document and be part of our day.”
MY PHOTOGRAPHY JOURNEY
My photography journey started back in 2012, before really taking off in 2015 when I began working as a photographer for the local newspaper.
Chasing stories and photographing things as they happened taught me how to think on my feet, read people and, most importantly, never miss the good stuff.
In 2019, I launched my own photography business, before going fully self-employed in 2025.
Since then, I’ve photographed weddings in all kinds of places, weather and situations, but the approach has stayed the same: be present, pay attention and let the day unfold.
WHEN I’M NOT TAKING PHOTOS
When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually with my girls, exploring somewhere in Shropshire, or watching Formula 1 and convincing myself I could have made a better strategy call. 🏎️
If you want a wedding photographer who’ll keep things relaxed, get stuck in and capture your day as it actually feels, I think we’ll get on pretty well.
